Hello, and welcome to Enchanted Forest! My name is Andrea. I am a certified birth doula and placenta services provider at New Roots Birth Services, and more importantly, I'm a mother. My husband and I are proud and joyful parents of our sweet toddler, Alden. We have always been an environmentally-conscious family (I've been called a crazy hippie plenty of times in my day), but that attitude only grew stronger with the birth of our first child. Now, with our second little bambino on the way, our adventure in parenting continues!

My sister, Erin Comeau, started Enchanted Forest in 2009 with a passion for providing Canadian-made and environmentally-friendly choices for parents. I took ownership of Enchanted Forest in 2011, as Erin and Jason birthed their second baby boy (such a sweetie!) and are focusing on their family and other careers. I am proud to now be offering natural choices for parenting in addition to my birth work!

I am committed to offering products that meet my values of environmental and social responsibility, health, and child honouring. I am passionate about supporting local crafters and business, and offer quality products made to last. I ALWAYS search locally, then nationally for quality products and buy as close to home as possible. I always carry Canadian-made products whenever possible, and stay away from Made-in-China products unless there are no comparible, quality options.

Enchanted Forest has now grown from a home-based and online boutique to a full-fledged downtown storefront location! We now feature not only amazing products, but also a variety of workshops that focus on healthy pregnancy, birth, babyhood, parenting, and more! Come check us out in Truro! Our storefront location features many products not yet available online.
