When worn against the skin, hazelwood absorbs and neutralizes the body's acididy and reduces inflammation. In doing so, beaked hazelwood soothes or relieves symptoms of various ailments such as joint pains (arthritis, osteoarthritis), digestion disorders (gastric reflux, heartburn, constipation), dental pains (baby teething, caries or cavities) or mouth sores but also some skin disorders (acne, eczema, psoriasis). History

Hazelwood teeting necklaces were first used by aboriginals to ease teething pain. In 2002, a Quebec family rediscovered the many health benefits of hazelwood and formed Pur Noisetier (Pure Hazelwood). These hazelwood necklaces are made from wood harvested from the Pur Noiseter farm. They are 100% natural and hand made in Canada. New double bracelets are now available for those who prefer bracelets to necklaces!

Longevity

Hazelwood jewelry loses its effectiveness over time. Most parents find that symptoms may being to reappear by 3-5 months, and will replace the necklace at this time and enjoy the amazing benefits of hazelwood with a fresh necklace.
