Enchanted Forest Consignment Sale - Feb 20-21

We know the drill- you have SO many toys, baby carriers, cloth diapers, gear, books, and other baby & kiddo products that are outgown or no longer in use. You’d love to de-clutter your house and earn some money doing it! But the thought of taking photos and listing all these items on kijiji and on swap sites is overwhelming, especially since people often can’t come to pick up items at a convenient time, or don’t show up at all. Or maybe you're in the market for some great gently-used items at great prices. Fear not, we have the answer, and it’s EASY and fun!

Want to shop at the sale? Here's what  you need to know:

• *The consinment sale is cash-only. All consignment purchases must be paid for in the community room. Regular Enchanted Forest purchases can be paid for with cash, debit, or credit card as usual. 
• *The sale is free to shop at! No need to register or pay a fee to get in.
• *Everyone is welcome! Please keep in mind that the sale may be crowded; if you bring children please mind them closely.
• *Because of space limitations and expected volume of shoppers, we ask that you leave car seats and strollers in your car.
• *All items are sold "as-is", and all sales are final.
• *Have fun! Score some great deals! We hope you love it!

Register as a seller at Enchanted Forest’s upcoming consignment sale! You’ll tag and price your items using our handy printable tags and drop them off at the shop. Then let us take it from there and do the rest of the work for you! You can choose to receive 100% of the sale price of your items as an Enchanted Forest gift certificate that will never expire, or 70% as cold hard cash. Want your un-sold items back afterwards? No problem, we’ll sort everything out for you. Would you prefer if we donated your unsold items? Sure thing, we can do that instead!

*Cloth diapers, including fitted diapers, pocket diapers, all-in-one-diapers, Cloth diaper covers, Inserts, prefolds, boosters, & liners, Cloth wipes, Wet Bags & Pail liners, Diaper pails, Cloth training pants, Accessories including diaper fasteners, spray pals, wipes cases, etc *Maternity clothing, Nursing shirts/dresses, pregnancy support bands, nursing scarves/covers, etc *Baby & Kids footwear up to size 12 (5 year old or so) *Baby & Kids outdoor wear (rain suits, coats, etc) up to size 5T *Toys & Books (must include fresh batteries if applicable) *Baby gear, including baby carriers, bounce/vibrate chairs, basinettes, high chairs, swings, play yards, and exersaucers (must include fresh batteries if applicable)

*Opened/unsealed/partially used diaper creams, wipes cubes/bits, or other skincare products, Detergents or laundry products, Diaper Sprayers Disposable diapers, wipes, & inserts from Hybrid diapers (eg. Disposable G-diapers & Grovia inserts) *Regular (non-maternity/nursing) women's clothing, breastpumps *Childrens clothing other than footwear & outdoor wear *Carseats, booster seats, cribs *Stained, damaged, or poorly-laundered items *Non-ergonomic baby carriers including Snugglies, Baby Bjorn, and similar carriers. We reserve the right to remove any carriers that we deem unsafe or which we suspect may be counterfeit.

 

How the sale will work:

• * Sellers must include a minimum of 15 items in the sale (unless one of these is a larger item like a baby carrier or gear). If you have a large quantity of items (more than a garbage bag or so), please let us know when you fill out your seller registration form. We will let you know if we have room for this volume of goods.
• * Fill out the online form at the bottom of this page to register if you would like to be a seller. We will assign you your unique seller number which allows your sales to be tracked without having identifying information on them. Your information is confidential and is used to track your sales and remit your payment to you after the sale.
• * Print off the tag template (click here). Please use cardstock because regular paper will tear off easily, leaving your item without identification. You may instead print your tag template on regular paper and glue it to boxboard (cereal boxes etc). If you do not have a printer, pop into the store and we can give you copies.
• * Great-quality, freshly-washed items only, please, and include brand-new batteries if applicable. If you would not buy it, please don't try to sell it. All sellers will price and sell their items fairly, honestly, and in good karma.  The “Golden Rule” is easy to follow.
• * Fill our your price tags. Round all prices to the nearest $0.50 (you may bundle items together if you like). Securely affix your tags to your items using string, safety pins, etc (no straight pins, please!). Remember to indicate your pick-up/donation preference and indicate if you would like us to mark-down your items for sale the extended sale the following week.
• * Drop your items off at Enchanted Forest on Tuesday Feb 16 or Wednesday, February 17. We will sort and arrange items by category and get everything ready for the sale, which will be located in our Community Room. Please note that we reserve the right to remove any items from the sale that are stained or damaged in any way, those that smell of smoke or strong perfumes/fragrances or that otherwise do not meet the criteria of the sale at our discretion.
• * The sale will run on Saturday & Sunday with items at full price. We will be handling cash and sales for all sellers at the event- you will not need to be present at the sale as all purchases will be tracked by seller number. Unsold items will be marked down by 30% and moved to the main part of the sale to sell the following week, until February 27, which means more sales for you! If you prefer to opt-out of this extended/discount sale, please indicate this on your tags; in this case you will need to pick up your items from Tues-Wed, Feb 23-24.
• * After the sale ends, we kindly ask for your patience as we sort all un-sold items and prepare them for pickup and/or donation to local charities. We will need to calculate payments for sellers, prepare reports and include cash or generate gift certificates for all sellers.  We will have all items ready for pickup by March 1, and all payments will be ready by March 5. Items unclaimed after this date will be donated.
