Hello, and welcome to Enchanted Forest! My name is Andrea. I am the owner of Enchanted Forest, and am also a certified birth doula and placenta services provider at New Roots Birth Services. But most importantly, I'm a mother.

My husband and I are proud and joyful parents of our sweet 6 year old, Alden, and our two year old, Ruby. We have always been an environmentally-conscious family (I've been called a crazy hippie plenty of times in my day), but that approach only grew stronger with the birth of our first child. Now, with 2 kiddos, our adventure in eco-parenting continues!

Enchanted Forest grew from a small, online-only shop started in 2009, to a home-based showroom & online boutique in 2011. In 2012, Enchanted Forest made the leap to a downtown storefont, and in 2015, we expanded again, trippling our size, doubling our staff, and adding a Community Centre stocked with awesome events and workshops to our offerings.

Our staff are all mothers, and we're all heavily invested in our region's birth and parenting culture. Among the ladies who run Enchanted Forest you'll find 2 birth doulas, 1 postpartum doula, 3 breastfeeding educators, 1 placenta services provider, 1 professional photographer, and 6 very passionate, very goofy, very chocolate-loving mamas who are dedicated to helping you thrive in parenthood. We're committed to offering products that meet our values of environmental and social responsibility, health, and respect for the importance (and fun!) of childhood. We're also passionate about parenthood, and are committed to creating a hub of nonjudgemental support, workshops, classes, and social events that help connect and empower our local families.
